recommendations on which city?

This may come as a bizarre question...

I'm applying to law schools this fall. Obviously the usual criteria exist
for selection, such as rank, location, curriculum, etc.
But there is one criteria that I can't find in books or on websites...so I'm
asking you guys for help

I've got a list of cities that I'm applying to schools in, and I'd
appreciate it if some of you could rank them in order of what you think the
Music scene there is like.

Here are the factors that would influence me most:
Type of Music: Indie, experimental/progressive rock, punk
Local scene: Availability of dedicated local musicians
"Giggability": Is it easy to find gigs, what sort of venues, etc.

Taking these into consideration, here are the cities. I'd appreciate if if
you guys took time to sort them in some order, and a comment next to each
city would me most helpful.

Tempe, AZ
Tuscon, AZ
Berkeley, CA
San Francisco, CA (familiar with this one)
San Diego, CA
Los Angeles, CA
Davis, CA
Hartford, CT
Washington, DC (this one too)
Chicago, IL
Champaign, IL
Bloomington, IN
Boston, MA
New York, NY
Columbus, OH
Cincinnati, OH
Pittsburgh, PA
Austin, TX
Seattle, WA
