Hi all, A couple of years ago I went to Ronnie Scott's in London and listened to a really fantastic performer whose name (I think) was Leanne Carroll. I'm not sure if I've spelt that correctly. She did a really wonderful rendition of "The Very Thought of You", amongst lots of other great songs. One of the best things was, when she arrived at the piano, she had a pint of lager in one hand, and a cigarette in the other. I wasn't really sure what I'd let myself in for, but as soon as the music started she sang like an angel. I can remember the exact date if it helps - Wednesday 17th January 2001. It was an anniversary for me and my girlfriend. I'd love to hear her play again, but after a search on the web, I've failed to find any real information about her, apart from the odd passing mention. Does anyone know where I can find out more information about her? Perhaps where she might be playing in the future? Many thanks, John
