I just remembered another song, which pre-dates all three songs
(Punjabi - Non-Film, Bombai Ka Chor and Sankalp) and has
similar theme (you can call it the eldest-sister, since the mom is
the nazm by: Nazir Akbarabadi. The song is from:
NAACH (1949) / Husnlal Bhagatram
Kyon Karta Maan Jawani Ka x 2
Tu Ek Bulbla Pani Ka
by: Geeta Roy , Lata & Rafi
very nice lyrics by: Mulkraj Bhakri and quite good composition.
The song has not been re-issed by HMV.
for Data-Collectors. It is one of the few songs, sung by
============== Geeta, Lata & Rafi (the film has another
song by the trio, but it is no good)
Sudhir

A music enthusiast mentioned the above listed song, as a good one.
