Tell you what... My daughter is kind of good with a flute

Tell me exactly what you mean by "Systematically to match a particular 
temperament" and I'll ask her.

Suspicion by the way is that you are right.  It would be a hard job

However when it comes to playing flute... I always pass to my daughter 
cause she's the one with the degree, I don't even play the things.
