The software I am now using is -

CDex - CD-ripping software - http://cdexos.sourceforge.net/index.php
mp3 splitter - http://www.rz.uni-frankfurt.de/~pesch/

I quite like Audio Playback Recorder, available from http://www.tongsoft.com/

I had looked at that software when I was figuring this out back in the spring. It does work, but the one thing I was looking at the time, was a budget of broke to get the project started and I wanted something that would work for longer than 60 seconds. (The only problem I had with the software.) I am not sure why I went with CD-Ex for the recording, but I do know that the mp3 splitter I am using was recommended by someone in their newsgroups back in Feb or March. That mp3 splitter is the only program I was ever able to locate that would take in a mp3 file and allow you to split the file and label the tracks. (I wanted to get some tapes converted before I had problems with them and now, I am working on converting my entire tape collection over.)
