FYI: on los angeles california fm undergrolund radio, a version of dylan singing his percy's song was played on fm radio early in 1968 from a reel tape given by song publishers to the byrds for possible recordings. legendary deejay b. mitchel reed [bmr] was renting a house from david crosby where he found the tapes and played percy's song on his 11am-4pm show on kppc-fm 106.7 located in the pasadena prebyterian church (on colorado blvd. where the annual new year's rose parade passes in front) and bmr put several unreleased dylan songs on reel tape in to the kppc-fm library (copies of those reel tapes also went into the libray of kmpx-fm san francisco via deejay tom donahue).
