So Dolly, what do you think about the Kabbalah? It has connections
with numerology. For that matter, you haven't answered my question
about placing yourself above rabbis who perform conversion ceremonies
and thereby accept converts as Jews. Or whether the Galicianers are
better or worse than Litvaks, in your opinion. Or if Reform Jews are
equal to Lubavitchers. You sound as if you think all religion is
nonsense, it's all racial--or should I say, racist?

Getting back to where we once belonged, it's too bad you're not open
to seeing what Maharishi's influence on the Beatles is. Transcendental
Meditation is spiritual rather than of any specific religion, but it
seems to many people that they get deeper into whatever affiliation
they began with.

And jeez, even for an extremist like you, Doll-babe,
"institutionalized" is pretty harsh! I mean, who's he harming?

Have you ever heard of a sense of humor? There are lots of Jewish
comedians. I suspect we may have survived all those pogroms and bad
stuff because as an ethnic group, we're known for being pretty damn
funny. Well, you're the exception to the rule, but you might have
heard of the Marx Brothers, Danny Kaye, Gilda Radner, Peter Sellers,
Stephen Fry, S. J. Perelman. Maybe if you put down the gun and took
the stick out of your butt, and then learned what it is to really
laugh and join humanity you'd be less likely to have a coronary before
2004.

PS. Although not Jewish themselves, the Beatles are very funny guys
too. Maybe you're really standing outside this group looking in,
wanting a bit of what's going on here. Is that just possible?
