My take is that EMI, looking to "wrap up" the Beatles Era, recoup some of that paid-for studio time, and have one more Xmas cash-in, would have taken whatever was finished or near-finished in the vaults and released it as the Beatles' "final" LP. Here's my proposed "final" Beatles LP (if they broke up before AR): The Beatles: "All Things Must Pass" (plus Get Back and 12 other songs) LP cover: the original Get Back parody idea - nice closure SIDE ONE: Two of Us I've Got A Feeling Something (GH demo) Don't Let Me Down Octopus' Garden (as on A3) Old Brown Shoe Across The Universe SIDE TWO: Get Back Ballad of J&Y For You Blue Let It Be All Things Must Pass (GH demo) The Long And Winding Road You Know My Name (Look Up The Number) -- Sean Murdock [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- All follow-ups are directed to the newsgroup rec.music.beatles.moderated.
