Aren't you the person who predicted the incredible 7.2% growth rate in 3rd
quarter would get revised downward? I notice you didn't comment when it was
revised upward to an even more astounding 8.2%, not downward as you predicted.

But rather than be humbled by that, you stoically march on and keep trying to
find a cloud in every silver lining, real or imaginary. That's about all you
and your fellow hard-core Democratic Party travelers will have to sustain you,
now that Bush's approval rating is back up to 61%, and he hasn't even started
campaigning yet. Also, I wouldn't be so absolutely sure about there still
being net job losses in Bush's term come January, 2005. Can you spell
"landslide"?

And by the way, how's your candidate Senator Kerry doing? Up to this point,
he's probably in the running for the gold medal at being one of the more inept
and incompetent presidential candidates in recent memory? If the 3rd quarter
growth rate gets revised upward again even the slightest bit, that growth rate
might actually be a higher percentage than Kerry is polling in the latest
national surveys among Democrats. But with an optimist such as yourself on his
side, happy days are undoubtedly just around the corner. Just maybe Kerry will
win his home state against Dean in the primary. But even if Kerry loses, I'm
sure he'll get more than 8.2% of the votes in his home state. So I can
definitely understand why you would be feeling pretty comfortable on such a
cold night.
