KD's latest rules - glad you are enjoying it.  Same goes for DGM -- I hoped
that would be up your alley.  As for Brainstorm - I'm not one that needs my
bands to be unique and new.  They make great music, and I find them quite
enjoyable - hence the high rating !

I love them.  I don't find them generic at all - I find them to be at or
near the top of the power metal genre.

I can buy that, but I still think these two discs are deserved of my top 10
status.   I did like each of their last releases better, but I feel both of
these discs are very good still.

You are hard on Masterplan.  Jorn sings just as well on this disc as he has
on anything else.  I also think this debut is much better than his Ark
debut.  This disc isn't up there with Burn The Sun, but not much is.

I was never a big Savatage listener so it sounded somewhat fresh to me.  I
think four or five tunes are quite excellent, and another four or so are
good.  On a grade scale I would give this disc a B or so.

I think the songs are very non catchy.  The songs also don't play well live

I thought you were digging these guys more this past year.  This new disc is
pretty solid - it's just that I wasn't compelled to continually play it over

didn't expect much from Tribe, so it wasn't what I would call a
dissapointment either.  It's just a third consecutive sucky Ryche disc.
