Hi! WebTV is useful for chatting/email and limited web browsing but if
you go that route I suggest that you get a "plus" model rather than the
"classic" model because it has more capabilities. I do have a computer
which I use for downloading certain files and browsing on certain
incompatible sites, but probably for your average non-computer literate
person, WebTV/msnTV would be a good option. Its nice because you can sit
on your couch or bed as you surf since you can buy a nice remote control
keyboard to go w/ it. The other big advantage is the fact that you don't
get viruses on it, which is why I use it for usenet.
