Thanks, everyone, for confirming what I had already suspected was the 
reason behind something I noticed at the solo-acoustic concert in 
Nashville a week and a half ago:

A stage hand caddied guitars to her and swapped out with her between 
every song, and I wondered if it was because those guitars were all 
tuned differently.
