Well, I've been accused of "projecting" my own beliefs on other artiss 
when I have picked up a pagan vibe off of their art before.

I guess I'm using it in a far simpler way, in the sense of spirituality 
without a big G god. She seems to recognize that there is a larger force 
within nature and finding her place in it. Between that and her goddess 
references, I think of her as pagan.

Yeah, i think she uses athiest to make it clear that she isn't into an 
actual religious god, but I don't think she's a full on athiest. (I'm in 
the middle of a huge argument on another NG with a full on atheist, and 
apparently hard atheism even denies there being a spiritual connection 
to the rest of the world, and ani has certainly acknowledged that at 
least)
