female arabic pop singer?

hello everyone,

i'm new to this group, and elated to be here!  8^)

i really dig the newer artists like Tarkan & Natacha Atlas, Hakim, Toires,
etc.  as well as also enjoy listening to the "oldies" that are more
traditional to the Arabic culture.

i was told recently that there's a "new, young hot thing" who has the voice
of an angel in this genre.  does anyone know her name?  the person who told
me was a stranger who overheard how much i liked the music and we were in a
loud, middle-eastern restaurant so i didn't exactly catch this young
artist's name.
