Keith, u and I both know there is no such thing as a "simple" timba tune . . . . <g> Do you have Osvaldo Chacon's "Salsa Timba" (Voy a Entrar)? Possibly some early Charanga Habanera or NG la Banda might work. If you want something that at least starts out with the more "smaltsy" salsa romantica and works up to the timba fury later on, you might consider Manolin's "Para Mi Gente".
