Sounds like you're planning on 2000 mile intervals anyway. Maybe 1500 mile intervals, but I can't see the point in going much lower than that. What you really need to do is take some longer rides, and maybe find a more circuitous route to and from work. (you get single digit weather in Mississippi?) brent
