Somehow they *made* energy from red for green in their device. Any real world device attempting to transform or shape energy will loose some in the process. Their charts seem to show pulses after the initial spark on a stock system and claim they are wasted. http://www.icatusa.com/tech.htm Conventional wisdom on shaping a spark for igniting the mixture in an internal combustion engine (or a welder) says a high voltage is needed to create the arc, then current and a lesser voltage is required to maintain it. Mention was made of a patent but no patent number is mentioned. The text of the patent could go a long way toward convincing me the product was not a gimmick. A similar classic JC Whitney snake oil gimmick was nothing but an air gap. And yes, it improved things in some situations. But electronic ignitions these days are delicate enough to have problems with the difference between a resistor plug and non-resistor plug. So I'd be leery of doing anything to alter the load impedance. We all know how simply changing the exhaust note can fool a large number of "professional" motor journalists into believing more HP was made. $200? I'd be much more willing to pay that amount for a high capacity ignition coil.
