Yep, done that one about 50 times, never did have the Dr's fix it.
Mine is hereditary, dad's pops out all the time still. I fixed mine by
using a butterfly attachment the my weight machine. Hasn't poped out
in the last ten years or so. BTW, when it is put back in after being
out for and hour or two, it's better than sex! I just about kissed the
Dr it felt so good. I figured out how to pop it back in myself after
the second trip to the emergency room.

Only done that one once. Had to get mine fixed, i have lousy posture
as it is and would have looked funny with one arm dragging the ground.
Besides the Dr was going in to pin my shattered collar bone and
re-attach my shoulder to my rib cage with a couple of shoe laces
anyways, so why not do it all at the same time.

I think broken ribs (or sternum in my case) is the most painfull.
I punctured a lung at the same time, when I finally did get a short
breath of air (not sure how i did it on my own) my whole chest was all
crunchy. They wouldn't operate on my shoulder till my lung and chest
were healed up, so after 6 weeks of healing they busted me open and
fixed the shoulder and collar bone mess. That was my worst riding year
to date. Crashed the weekend before Easter and didn't ride again till
late in August. At least my bike didn't get hurt, and now I can tell
when a weather front is coming in. :-)
