I know there are a lot of people out there using CP fuel, and there are a lot of Raptors out there with the TT .39's. I would also say I have seen a lot of guys I fly with that are relatively unaware of how their engines are running. I am not saying they are idiots or anything, just that they are not tuned in to their engines (pun intended). I have seen two guys flip their heli over and have them lean out over a half a minute or so and they ended up "landing" upside down. They didn't notice their engines were lean. Now if you couple that with a fuel that may have less oil, regardless if it is enough or not, they can run into problems. They lean it out, the motor is nicely singing along at 300deg and it cooks itself in short order. I am not saying that is what happened in this case, but I would put that well above a manufactured fuel that thousands of people are using being too shy on its oil content. Regards, Guy
