Be aware that in HO there is an old version and a new version of the
Bachmann class J.  The new version is a more accurate model with more
correct contours on the boiler and running boards, and has a much better
drive and motor.  It makes the old model obsolete.  If you want a model for
static display, you should be able to find a used early version for under
$50.  GQ
