A spear is like having a little knife on the end of a stick.
Ever been to a knife fight?
It'll get'cher hands dirty.
A spear, although I have never actually fought with one, has great leverage,
great 'insertion, and the effects must be really bloody.
There are accounts of battles that lasted for hours- surely there was time
to fight more than one opponent.
