Fresh start: new mailing list

For those in the Washington, DC (.us) area, I'm taking another shot at
getting a general-purpose martial arts mailing list going.

I've set up a Yahoo group to (hopefully) replace the long-moribund and
apparently dead "dcmartialartists" group. The new one is found at
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/DCMartialArts/ or can be subscribed to
with an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED]

If you live/work/practice in the area, are from the area, or just have
some connection to the DC/Maryland/Virginia region, and are any kind
of martial artist (student, teacher, writer, whatever), please join!

I'll do a brief screen of memberships to keep out the 'bots and most
of the spammers, but don't plan to do much moderation otherwise.
Hopefully, it will end up as a locale-specific cross partway between
r.m-a and r.m-a.m (not as flame-ridden as the first, but more active and
with more topics than the latter).

Please advertise this, too!
