Boxing would be great - there are many instances of 'smaller' people defending themselves against larger via boxing.....it's teaches timing, speed and how to hit - just and any valid martial art should. I've been in Isshinryu for a while and find that this is also a very very effective tool for self defense..... It all depends on the instructor - review the class, no matter which self defense art you take, to ensure they are teaching valid and simple techniques Paul Rooney <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote in message news:<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>... > On Wed, 12 Nov 2003 22:50:42 UTC, "Jeremy" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > >I've been looking into taking a regular self-defense program.
