No, the point is, CAS supposedly has an exclusive deal with the manufacturer. I am a firm believer in good business practice, and believe that "grey" or "black" market goods are unfair to the authorized vendor, and if mis-represented, unfair to the end buyer as well. I purchased a sword that was mis-represented, and I am not happy about that. Being a business man with a strong sense of ethics, this cuts me doubly so (every pun intended). There are people who buy in bulk, do not posess retail frontage, and can therefore sell a $100.00 idem for $80.00, that is fine, but flying to China, meeting their grey market contacts, possibly smuggling the products into the country is another matter. Yes the credo "let the buyer beware" applies at all times. But I am just reminding people that there is a pervasive problem, and just because an online presence looks clean and well groomed, does not mean they are legit, and does not mean that they will flat out lie to you.
