I've heard some people say that you should keep, for instance, two mags full and one empty and rotate which one is empty on at least a bimonthly basis - I tend to get impatient and empty all my mags at the range at least that often, but I have accumulated enough of them at this point to leave a couple loaded for quick action if it turns out that that's the safest bet - I need to know that the mags I slap in when addressing a threat on my life or property will be ready to go and will function flawlessly whether something comes up in the next 10 minutes or not for 10 years. ----------------------------------------------------------- Learn about rec.guns at http://www.recguns.com -----------------------------------------------------------
