Also, the CUP pressure is MUCH higher in the 9mm. The thickness of the case allow this in 380 the thinner walls will buckle under the pressure. Another reason to go with a 9mm is the availability of ammo.(read: prime) It is a NATO standard. Don't get me wrong a .380 is more accurate (at least when I shoot it). but its knock down/stopping power is less. Remember the rule of three when shooting for "Life" 1st hit in the head, second hit in the chest and the third and most important hit is the sound of someone hitting the ground and staying down when hit. Personally, I like .22LR most will say not enough knock down power. I say, 3-shot rule and cheap and easy to carry. Now I'm not talking about some spray and pray shooter. I'm talking about refined shooting. It goes from pistol to rifle instantly and is easy to drop 100+ RNDs into your pocket. tat-2 aka Ed "jimbo" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote in message news:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > ... ----------------------------------------------------------- Learn about rec.guns at http://www.recguns.com -----------------------------------------------------------
