and that's a good thing?  that any one of us could walk into walmart
right now and buy their fill of press board furniture, cheap shoes,
infant formula with additives not proven to do diddly for the babies
(that walmart illegally advertises), and fabric not worth putting the
time into making it into a pillowcase- *that* is a good thing?  And
then, when the world runs out of energy to make more, they'll all end
up in the landfills where they belonged in the first place.  (except
the babies who belonged at their mother's breast.)  I'm sorry, I just
don't see that endless purchasing is a good thing for the world,
especially when most of it is just junk.

what a bizarre optimism.  How is that money coming back to the US? 
When all the impoverished Chinese and Thai "subcontractors" take their
luxurious vacations here?!
