Looks like www.3do.com is officially kaput.  Seems the company liquidation
is almost complete.  The 3do multiplayer was a thing of greatness for its
time, though perhaps their 32 bit push was too early and too expensive in a
16 bit dominated world.  Difficult for a small co to compete in a gaming
world dominated by giants like Microsoft, Sony, EA, and Nintendo.

They should have just closed up shop and gone into liquidation when they
sold off their M2 technology to Matsushita for big bucks.  That was the
height of their financial greatness.  While their subsequent software
publishing days produced some nice titles, how could they compete against
the other big publishers out there?  After about the 10th Army Men sequel I
think the writing was on the wall that the creativity was gone.
