Well, here is what happens.... First, Jacob must band to Gabriel before you block. If he does not band at the beginning before he comes into battle, he can't band at all. So, if I attack with Jacob, and you play Christian Martyr immediately, I can still band someone in because my text took effect. So, in reality, you could not bring Gabe in. However, I'll help you out and treat it like you banded him in first. Jacob to Gabe to Matthew with Courage, Strength, Search, Laughter, and Deliverance. Emp. Claudius to K. Jehoikim to Ananias to Sapphira with Moral Decline, Rezon Arizes, and Sword of Vengeance. Jacob is immune to Anaias and Sapphira as well as Rezon Arizes. Emp. C is immune to Gabe, Matthew, Search, and Deliverance. Normally, the attack would be 32/30 while the block is 31/35. But because of the immunities, we have some fun. Jacob is immune to 12 offense and Emp. C is immune to 22 offense. The fact that Matthew has first strike does not do anything because the total defense is higher than the attacking offense. Also because of this fact, no evil character loses. Had the offense been at least 35, it would make things more complicated. Either way, no lost soul would be rescued because Emp. C is immune to most of it. But, since the attacking defense is lower than the blocking offense, here's what happens. Jacob is immune to 12 points of offense, essentially making the total 19/35. His defense along with the others' is 30 total, so he lives. Gabe and Matthew are not immune, so their total 30 loses to the total 31 and thus they are discarded. Jacob returns to his territory as do all the evil characters. I think that's right.... Eric
