One way to abuse it is to use the Madness mechanic. As you know, Basking
Rootwallas are for free if you get to discard them, and you could use
the 3 mana to pay for an Arrogant Wurm or a Violent Eruption or some
Fiery Tempers.

And in Type One, anything that gets a good mana boost can be usable.
