No. The Fireshrieker gives it double strike; it does not give it "your triggered abilities trigger twice if they would otherwise trigger once". Each time the Slith deals combat damage to a player, its ability will trigger once and it'll get a +1/+1 counter. Fireshrieker lets it _deal combat damage to_ a player (if unblocked) twice, rather than once, which ends up giving it two +1/+1 counters. But that is NOT what you asked; it still only gets one each time it damages your opponent (or you). It just gets twice the chance to damage him.
