    ...the dark blue above the pure white plain stretched
to the horizon, but the howling winds discouraged either
figure from raising his head too far above the furred
parkas and packs they wore.

    Eventually, the two stopped.  For the first time, each
eased the outer later of clothing to get a better look
around.  Distant to the west, a forest could be seen,
bleak and skeletal in the snow.  The featureless plain
they stood on could be a lake, for all they knew.

    Each removed goggles and then facemasks,
revealing Brunhilde and Hrothulf.  Hrothulf gazed
calmly at the surrounding winter nightmare, nodded
slowly, and said, "Here."

Hey all--

    We have a constructed deck tournament coming up
here in Milwaukee.  Please come out and enjoy some beats,
bleeds and votes.  Prize support will involve Legions,
Lambachs, and Xaviers for everyone who comes out --
if participants would like to pay a small ($5 or less) entry
fee in order to purchase prizes, we'll determine that on the
day of the event.  No one will be obliged to pay this fee.

    Black Hand cards will not be legal yet - please see the
White Wolf Event calendar for an upcoming regional
tournament the first weekend BH is legal.

    RSVP if it's convenient, and I'll hold off on starting
until you arrive.  (Hrmph, within reason.)
