Try playing Nethack sometime.... It will drive you crazy to only be able 
to shoot in 8 directions. BTW, the +/- targetting is in the manual....

I've found DEFEs pretty devastating. I've been skipping sticky flame to 
get to bolt, and that is awfully fun. All my deaths have been YASDs...
