Long bow of Lothlorien (x3)(+15,+15)(+2) would be almost as good as Bard for damage and better than Bard for other values.

It is much worse than Bard (20 per shot, not counting brands, 60 per round) for a Ranger (who cares for damage more than anything else), and non-Rangers don't care that much.

Bard with normal arrows: (1d4 + 19) * 5 = 107.5 LBowoLLorien w normal arrows:(1d4 + 15) * 5 = 87.5

Bard with +10 to dam arrows: (1d4 + 10 + 19) * 5 = 157.5
LBowoLLorien +10 arrows: (1d4 + 10 + 15) * 5 = 137.5

Multiply that by three for clvl >40 ranger.

When total damage is 472,5/412,5 non-branded (and because ranger gets access to brand ammo that will not happen) and 1417.5/1237.5 with brand that 60/180 points of damage difference doesn't mean much. It still kills dracolich in three turns :-). In three turns difference is slightly more than one shot worth of damage (of nine shots).

Lothlorien longbows are *rare*. And I like it that there exist rare ego items that can be better than artifacts. Plus, in my experience, good bows are generally so rare that this is not a problem at all.

When ordinary ego bow of that type is better than Bard _for_ranger_ it is a problem. Everybody else would go with ordinary extra shot Lbow for damage anyway, so it is not so much of problem as Haradrim that gives everybody _except_ranger_ huge missile weapon boost.

Lothlorien with only +1 to might would still be very very good bow. Random ability combined with DEX boost and FA is very good to everybody.
