By "IJ rails" are you referring to siderails or the ramp wireforms?

Well gang I sent out a bunch of stuff for brass plating from the guys
that
are the best . . .
Hang on to your chairs, and I would sit down about now if you aren't
already
. . .
Process : Brass plated high polished and then coated with clear
powdercoat
for long lasting shine
Costs :
Legs $ 60.00 per leg narrow body lockdown $ 55.00 each IJ rails and IJ gun . . . never mind that was for me . . . ouch widebody bars $ 70.00 each rails $ 135.00 each
This does not include the cost of the item . . . this is just the
plating
I sent in enough samples to do 2 IJ games complete . . . I will have the samples in my possession next week I hope.
Even I'm a little taken a back by the prices especially of the rails.
No wonder everybody does it the cheap unpolished way . . . :-)
So after seeing those prices I'll wait for the pictures to make my final decision.
Bottom line for an Indy Jones all gold premium kit :
Widebody bar $ 75.00 + $ 70.00 brass plating = $ 145.00 Rails $ 35.00 a set + $ 270.00 plating = $ 305.00 Legs $ 8.00 each x 4 = $ 32.00 + $ 240.00 plating = $ 272.00
We're talking some serious money to upgrade $ 722.00 for all new brass plated high polish . . .
Bottom line for an MM all gold premium kit:
Narrow bar $ 45.00 + $ 55.00 plating = $ 100.00 Rails same as above $ 305.00 Legs same as above $ 272.00
For MM upgrade $ 677.00
Thats pretty steep !
I'm going to guess most of you aren't interested at those prices . . . I
don't think I'm going that far out on a limb saying that ;-)
I'll have pictures next week or shortly thereafter . . .
Anyone interested can drop me an E-mail. I'm not waiting by the mailbox icon though ;-)
