Addison I think has played netrek since say 92. He was accomplished
when I started learning to read and send netrek messages. Supposing he
averaged 20 hours per week for the past 10 years he's invested nearly:

20 * 52 * 10 hours = 10400 hours in the game. 

It does not count the time he spent rgn posting, thinking about,
perfecting keymaps, editing xtrekrc files, reading src code, clue
games logs, inl mailing list followups, draft leagues, ascii text
macro building etc etc. If he substitutes his time for
family,exercise,church or real work, then hats off to him. Although he
posts that the game is dead, perhaps he really means that his
addiction is dead, but he didn't say that. Then his literal
statements/sentiments must be answered, but I see the rest of you were
too stoned to do it. I took the initiative.
