AD: Nebmedes, Egyptianesque Fantasy (D&D 3.5 system)

Nebmedes is a unique city, set on the edge of the Nherub river delta and the
sea. It is the trading heart of Ta-shamerew, the Empire and the capital of the
High Kingdom. We are, to the best of our knowledge, the first game to have
fully completed our changeover to the D&D 3.5 rules. We place a strong focus
on roleplaying and plot, as we remember those to be the main tenets of a
roleplaying game, while still not losing sight of the physical conflict and
combat that is 'classic' D&D for some.

We've got a number of people involved with our game, both as players and staff,
who are regularly published professionals within the d20 industry and our
setting has sparked enough interest that it is currently under contract to
become a published campaign setting!

We've worked hard to give the game a unique feel, well documented and built
with detail. For example, we have four new races, the Bastet, lithe desert
guides who follow in Bast's form with human bodies but feline heads and tails;
the Lizardfolk who are strong and wily reptilian politicians; and two types of
elves, Sea Elves who are more delicate and intellectual, and Sand Elves who are
hardier and more survival oriented. We're using a version of the Egyptian
pantheon, slightly modified to fit in with the setting, each deity has their
own help file to make player reference easier.

For a chance to try something a little exotic, a touch different, while
still retaining the familiarity of a popular system, come stop by and visit
us at:
                   Nebmedes.o-r-g.org 7777
or on the web at: http://nebmedes.o-r-g.org:8000/

We are highly newbie friendly, it is not required for players to own any books
or to know anything about the system. All we need from people is an open mind.
