Looking for old VegaMuse alumni...

Hi all,

My name's Matt Shepherd. I played VegaMuse when I was at Ryerson
Polytechnic, having been introduced to it by some floormates who were
much more computer-saavy than I.

I'm out of touch with those guys, and haven't thought of VegaMuse
for years, but I was talking about languages with my girlfriend the
other day and mentioned that I'd written a language for a race of
creatures in an online game once... and then memories popped back in.
It's amazing how little I recall of it, given that I spent half my
waking life on that game for about six to eight months. Anyway, I was
a
Mysterian (?!) named Schreck, and I built a lot of stuff. I can't
remember any of the code. I can't remember any of the other players
(but
I think there was a ... Magnus?). I vaguely remember writing a whole
bunch of cool stuff, but that was about a decade ago now, and at the
time, it all seemed so dispensible, you know?

So I googled Vegamuse -- no luck, something called Vegamuse 4 that
seems
to have been dead for aeons -- and then Vegamuse Trillian, the only
player I could still recall (probably because I'm a Douglas Adams fan)
and turned up an e-mail link which turned out to be defunct.

So I'm looking for old VegaMuse players, and particularly admins, to
see if they have copies of this old crap anywhere. I'd love to see it
again.

You can see one of my current projects at www.man-man.org... I'm still
active online, but my pleasure these days is more cartoony than musey.

- Matt Shepherd
