[BT]The Official UNOFFICIAL BattleTech Archive to close

I have for many years now been running "The Official UNOFFICIAL BattleTech
FanFic Archive" (see my sig for location) I have decided it is time to shut
down the Archive. This site has been going for something like Four years now
and as time goes on, I have less and less time to work on it (You will not
belive how much time MekTek can easy up some days). Also I have never been sure
how many people visit the Archive. My apologies to those people that have
relied on the Archive as the main online storage site for their stories. You
writers are the only reason that I have kept the Archive open for as long as I
have and I thank you for taking the time to send me your stories. Until the
current contract for the webspace expires I will still maintain the Archive (I
am not sure of the date, but I believe it to be fairly soon. So go and look
before it is gone!). After it is closed I will not delete the files. There is
the possibility that at some future time the Archive will be reopened. Who
knows what the future will bring. sm
