[BT] Combat Operations/TRO Project Phoenix no reviews?

Hi all,

Has anyone bought the above books?  Anyone got any comments on them? 
Are they worth buying? There's also supposed to be a special ops book
either out, or coming out.  Any opinions?

I note that you could buy them from FanPro directly.  Does anyone have
an opinion as to why doing so is better than Amazon (30% discount)?

P.S. I know this has probably been discussed to death on the Classic
Battletech board, but I hate a newsgroup/bulletin board/place to read
