But my real problem with d&d forcing mages/priests to spend points on fighting iwth weapons is that it decreases flexibility and tactical leveling. While it may be perfectly reasonable for many sorcerors and priests to be at least moderately good at weapons, why must all characters of a certain level/class be just as good with weapons? Lena
