You're probably referring to D-Roc's (Deric Bernier) Master Martial
Arts list. I've got a copy if he's not still got it posted on his
Website.
He has Pentjak Silat listed as follows:- The Eastern art of
Assassination, this Martial Art is shrouded in secrecy and deceit. It
has been said to learn its secrets is to lose your soul. No-one knows
where it is taught.

IP Multiplier (5) Strike +3 Punch +1 Kick +2 Disarm - Sweep - Block +2
Dodge +3 Grapple +1 Throw - Hold +1 Choke +2 Escape +1 Ram -

If you want the full file I can mail it you - just lose the obvious
from the trapped address

Thanks that is exactly what I was looking for, I did a google search
and found the webpage.

Wooo hooo, I'm still popular

Hey now that you are here I have a few questions about your Martial Arts list. These are not ment to be criticial in a bad way, I'm just curious. Some of the Martial Arts are clearly made up and some are adapted from other gaming products (Ninjas and Super-spies from Paladium perhaps, and maybe Remo Williams?). From many of the sources (gaming books, internet, magazines, and what not) I have only heard of Pentjak Silat (not all Silat is Pentjak, but that is splitting hairs) refered to as an art of assassination once (and even then it was refuting someone else's statement. Basicially the comment went something like this "there have been conflicts between the inhabitents of Indonesian for a long time, Muslim vs Shik vs Chinese vs Dutch vs Indiginous Tribes, doesn't matter which group you ask they will claim the others are 'Evil' and practice things such as 'witchcraft, assassination, genocide, canabalism, and what not.' So of course the Chinese are going to say that Pentjak Silat, is used for assassination and the the practioners are little better than thugs and assassins and no match for Kung Fu."
On another topic Fencing does have transferable skills (similiar to Kendo) mostly they cover timing, dodges, and weapons use (according to some sources Fencing had an influence on Escrima/Kali/Arnis and on some forms of Silat). Not that I have seen the movie but apparently there is a Japanese film that has quite the interesting fight between a Fencer (the older style before it was a sport) and a Kenjutsu practioner.
Perhaps it might be time to revise your quite excellent list, though with the lack of popularity (at least in my area) of the game it might not be worth your time. Should you decide to revise the list could you perhaps state if the Martial Art is real or fictional. Thanks for your time.
