Valkyrie is a quarterly British roleplaying magazine based on grass roots
roleplaying, to use a cliché: 'by gamers for gamers'. Its content is
predominantly scenarios, source material, optional rules etc with fairly
minimal industry related content. Valkyrie does however have a good
reputation for its honest, no nonsense reviews.

Valkyrie's regulars are 'News From the Trenches' a column on gaming
advocacy, (by 'The Escapist's' Bill Walton); Saint's and Sinners: 'Where
gaming meets the real world!; 'Soldiers of Fortune, a miniatures review
column and Battlelines - a section on SF/fantasy miniatures gaming with,
