Should solve any sound problems. I have Win XP and VDMSound works fine on
all Us I have except for U7 and U8 but there are patches to run U7 and U8 in
Windows by Gaseuos Dragon on his web site at
http://members.iinet.net.au/~rsd/

Basically, on newer machines all the Ultimas need either some patch or other
to run properly. A good source for these are at

Check out the fan patches and upgrade patches in particular.
