The C128 version does, and there are indeed C128 emulators on which to play it. (VICE, for example -- do a Google search for it. There are both Unix and Windows versions, and possibly others.) However, the graphics from the IBM version are much nicer. You're probably right about someone having written a patch to play MIDI tunes at the appropriate parts in the game. Unless you're particularly nostalgic for the C64/128 version and don't mind "swapping disks" every once in a while, then I'd say go for the IBM version. > I would liek to play a version that had both sound and music and good > graphics. Yes, it supports a number of sound cards. However, the Adlib music may not work properly without a patch. (Again, Google for something like "ultima adlib patch".) I've heard that the Roland music is better, though.
