Re: U5 and U6 - which versions to play?

Use WinUAE for Amiga emulation, and you can download the .adf files for both U5&6 from amiga.supergamez.hu
No idea about the legality of this, as I know Commodore-based copyright is a bit weird these days.

Hopefully someone can help me out. I'm looking to play both U5 and U6
again, however I'm not sure which versions I should play.

Ultima 5 - I would like to play a version that has sound and music. I suppose this could be the C64, Amiga, or IBM version right? Anyone have recommendations as to which version is the best? From my understanding, the C64 version does not have music unless played on a C128, but I don't even know if they make a C128 emulator? Anyone have any success with the Amiga version? The IBM version doesn't have music, but I heard there's a patch to fix that...

Ultima 6 -
I would liek to play a version that had both sound and music and good
graphics. This rules out the C64 version which was limited to 16 colors.
Other choices left are the Amiga version and the PC version. However, the
PC version does not have music, or does it? I think the Amiga version would
be awesome, but darned if I can find out how to get ahold of it. If there
was sound/music with the PC version, I'd just play that I suppose...

Can anyone help answer some of my questions? Thanks.
I haven't played these games in years since I got both U5 and U6 for
Christmas on my C64 many moons ago. Wish I didn't throw them out, haha.
BTW - I am willing to pay to get the legal copies of whichever version I
should be playing.....
