That's the best (safest) way to do it, actually.  In my wild and foolish
university days, I wrote a program called 'U6MGR', which actually
modified the Ultima 6 program to make it load from another directory.

That works too, but it sure as hell is less safe.  And it doesn't work
with Linards Ticman's PC speaker patch.
