Yes, IDE drives just ignore that BIOS screen llf command. Sometimes
you might see a drive manufacturer website mention llf with regard to
their diagnostic tool but all it really means is that tool will do a
wipe of the drive to force the defect map to be updated. You're not
writing new servo tracks and sectors out on the disk.
