I'll agree TNG was better, as long as we can leave out the first year
or two.  I would've started watching it way sooner if the pilot hadn't
sucked so much.  Minor little improvements helped -- like dumping the
drippy uniforms, Will growing a beard, Troi getting rid of that turd
on top of her head...
