Set your filters to kill.

Mailwasher is a,"Pop" server access program. It allows the user to see
what's on the hard drive hard at the ISP before you let your mail
program download it thus giving you control over what gets to your
system.

I dumped OE years ago in favour of the free,"Calypso",
http://10xshooters.com/calypso-free/
Which is more robust, bug free and even has a built in spell checker.
If you ten require a News reader try Gravity 2.5,
http://lightning.prohosting.com/~tbates/gravity/start1.html

So you check you mail with Mailwasher.Decide manually or by filters
what you want to download and then fire-up your e-mail program.

Till they do something.Install,"Mailwasher",
http://www.mailwasher.net/download.php
1:Tools/Options/Filters/Add and make a filter.
2:Click the,"Mark for deletion box"
3:Click the,"Any Rule Below is satisfied box
4:Choose fewer rules.
5:In the Rules box change to"To Field".
6:Change to the next box across and change to,"Does Not Contain" and
7:then in the far right box put your email address.

This will delete them from your pop box as most
of these virus spam are not personal as you may think and they won't
have your return address.

You can add more rules to this filter with more email addresses of
friends if you like

Big THX to Vw wall for this.
HTH :)
